Paperwhite Garden Design is based near Cambridge, in the UK,
and is run by Helen Floto and Annick Stiles.

Paperwhite is named is after the Narcissus papyraceus (paperwhites),
a white-flowered daffodil which blossoms in the depths of
winter, heralding the promise of spring.
We chose our name Paperwhite because of the simplicity and elegance of paperwhites, which we feel reflects the style that we aim to achieve in our work.

Annick and Helen met at Capel Manor College, the renowned centre
for Horticulture and Garden Design in London, where they both studied.
Annick successfully completed a 3 year Diploma in Garden Design,
comprising design and planting. Helen successfully completed an
RHS certificate in Horticulture, combined with a practical internship
with the Women’s Farm and Garden Assocation. Together, we will
bring our skills, experience and creativity to develop
the true potential of your garden.

We approach each garden design or border project as a unique
assignment which deserves a one-of-a-kind, tailormade design.
While each project is unique and starts with a blank piece of
paper (paperwhite - we never use ready-made plans), we do
have consistent values underpinning our work:
we listen carefully to our clients’ wishes, and translate these
into gardens that function well on a practical level, but that also
exude a seemingly effortless style.
